Winners of the Female Full Bale & Full Pint

What a fantastic run with a twist! Teams of two are timed running the race in fancy dress, carrying a bale of straw (15-20 kgs), visiting six pubs and drinking a pint at each (except at the final pub). The route is approximately 2.5 miles, starting at the Waggon and Horses, with stops at The Bay Horse, the former “Idiot Hut” social club, onto The Lamb, then the former Shoulder of Mutton with an uphill push to the finish at the Dog and Gun.

It is a great day out with a real carnival atmosphere for the local community. Whether you are taking part in the race or spectating, it is an event not to be missed! This could become a Dragons’ yearly tradition!
