What a month it has been, with March treating us to some wonderful weather, plenty of sunshine and lighter evenings!

We’ve enjoyed some great evening runs with added structured training (Thanks Jan!), and those fantastic sunny morning off-road runs. Spring has truly sprung, and we’ve been making the most of it!
Our members have been smashing it at some incredible events. From the scenic streets of the Lisbon Half Marathon to the snowy trails of the Glenshee Snow Running, it’s been a month of adventure. Then came the Haworth Hobble, the Thirsk 10k, the Keighley 10k, Vale of York and Coniston 14!
Huge congratulations to everyone who took part in an event!
March has also been a time of intense preparation. Many of our members are knee-deep in training for upcoming half marathons, full marathons, and some very personal challenges. Some raising money for charities close to their hearts, and a certain member has been tackling work-related training with a marine rucksack heavy enough to make your quads weep—amazing feats of strength and resilience.
What’s been so fantastic is how much we’ve supported and encouraged each other, whether it’s swapping tips, heading out to join someone on a run, post-race hugs or just sharing a post-run coffee. Our Dragons community certainly helps keeps each other going, when it gets tough!
Bring on April—we’re fast approaching Marathon time, and ready for more sunny miles, shared adventures, and smashing those running goals. Here’s to another month of making memories (and hopefully a PB or two)!
