Sunshine, smiles and scenic miles!

We blinked—and June was gone! But what a month it’s been. We kicked things off in style hosting a buzzing HDSRL event. Massive thanks to all the Dragons who poured their time and energy into making the night such a hit. The cheers were loud, the food was top-notch, and the smiles? Unmissable.

Out on the trails, a few fearless members took on some scenic challenges—from the beautiful Bolton Abbey Summer solstice, the rugged Wharfedale Trail and Wharfedale 3 Peaks to an epic coastal ultra. Absolute legends and congratulations to Simon for winning in his age category!

Closer to home, the Leeds 10K saw strong performances and a whole lot of local love, with plenty of Dragons cheering from the sidelines. We also had a brilliant evening out at the Ripon and Knaresborough HDSRL—sun, social, and speedy miles all round.

And let’s not forget the three Dragons who ditched their kit for fancy dress to marshal at Endure24. By the looks of things, they had an absolute blast!

Our Couch to 5K group continues to smash it—we’re cheering you on every step of the way towards your July graduation. And through it all, the sun kept shining on our morning and evening runs around Yeadon. Glorious.

Oh and we won an award for the club who looked as though they were enjoying themselves the most. What recognition!
