Here we are in September! The nights may be drawing in but before we get into reflective gear and gloves, lets have a look back at a fantastic August!

Its been great to see so many Dragons at the club through this month, making the most of those golden late summer evenings and sunny mornings. We’ve been treated to some away runs and off-roaders and it’s been wonderful to welcome some new and returning faces!

Parkrun and holiday fever

There’s definitely been a Parkrun buzz in the air and we’ve loved seeing that some members packed trainers into the holiday suitcase!

Dragons have been spotted far and wide, some ticking off letters for the Parkrun alphabet challenge (one Dragon bagged a Z—very impressive!). From local favourites to destinations further afield, it’s been brilliant to see the club colours popping up across the UK and beyond. Keep sharing in your pics—we love seeing where your feet take you!

London Marathon club ballot

We are thrilled to share that Rob Harrison won the club ballot, drawn earlier this month by last years winner, Ken Creek. Rob will be representing Dragons at the London 2026 Marathon! Good luck Rob, we know you will smash it!

As the evenings draw in, please dig out your reflective gear for your evening runs and fear not, the fun doesn’t stop! Expect autumnal Saturday trails, and a cheeky social or two – starting with Singo Bingo in a few weeks time!
