Dragons raise over £5k for charity

On an unpredictably warm day, 14 Dragons took to the starting line for the inaugural Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon. They looked confident and raring to go with beaming smiles in their pre-race photos, even though most of them hadn’t run a marathon before!

The course itself was challenging with steady inclines, steep gradients and few descents, but the months of dedicated training paid off and each and every Dragon successfully rose to the challenge. Their impressive finishing times are a testament to their hard work and determination.

Between them, they managed to raise more than £5,000 in support of the Rob Burrow Care Centre for Motor Neurone Disease. A brilliant achievement all round!
